Who am I?

My name is Deborah Malone and I am the Periodicals Librarian at the University of San Francisco’s Gleeson Library|Geschke Center

I am an archivist as well as a librarian with interests in social psychology, cultural anthropology, American/Canadian/British history, and the humanities.

Me in Las Vegas

My job responsibilities include management of the print journal collection, the microfilm and microfiche collection, the Periodicals public service desk, the bindery prep & mending operation along with various other functions of the Periodicals Unit within the Reference and Research Services Department.

I am also a Reference Librarian and the school/department liaison and collection development librarian for Counseling Psychology, Psychology, Sport Management and Exercise and Sport Science. I am the collection development librarian for anthropology, folklore & social customs, social pathology and corrections, auxiliary sciences of history (including archaeology and archives).

I have a lot of good help with running the Periodicals Unit so many thanks to my staff.
